Letter 1
Dear Johanna.
As the time passes by im thinking more and more about our wedding 2 years ago.
This war makes me crazy about it.
And when you read this is all the water supplies gone!
we are not yet able to find any waterhole even that we have modern equipment.
The only thing i want is to be with you! It is hard to express how much i miss you and the childrens. Yesterday my best friend Bob died searching fore water...
You will soon recieve a new letter from me!
