An eventful fishing trip - 19

Setting: A fishing boat – Genre: a comedy
You won't believe what happened to me yesterday. It's only pure luck that I am still alive! You see, my great grandfather and I were fishing in his old fishing boat. He can barely walk, and I had to carry him most of the way down to the shore. The boat is small, but the little space is well utilized. My great grandfather has a flower covered chair with a matching parasol, and a little kitchen as well. But that's it. I had to sit on the flooring.
“I've got a biting!” my great grandfather screamed after few seconds. The few teeth he had left jumped out of his mouth, and hit me in the face. I got several bite marks, specially around my cheek, which started to bleed. The ruby red drops dripped one by one into the dark water. He started to haul up the fishline.

Part 2
I was so excited that I could not feel the pain anymore, even tho I became incredibly sore from his teeth. I rubbed my eyes and I could not believe what i just saw. My grandfather had caught an enourmous fish, and he was yelling something in a weird language. I could not understand what the heck he was saying because his teeth had fallen out. He should have known about that and eventually he noticed that something was wrong and started looking for his teeth. He searched the whole deck after the teeth, without finding them. "Hey! Maybe the fish ate your teeth in some way", I said to my grandpaa.

Part 4
She didn not answer. I did not know mermaids existed. Grandpa had told me some stories about them, before he lost his teeth, but I only tought it was another one of granpas unlikly stories. But now a real mermaid standed in front of me. She looked at us for a while, and suddenly she dissapeared as fast as she appeared. Grandpa and me looked surprised at eachother and didn't say a word.
